For the weekend a big group of us travelled to Terelj National Park. The weather was amazing and we could see the beginning signs of Spring (even though we're a month away from Summer) - patches of flowers, green grass and baby animals. We stayed with a local family (with two gorgeous little girls) and went on a few hikes up the surrounding mountains, including one to a Buddhist meditation centre. Part of the reason for the trip was to celebrate Jessie's 30th birthday, for which Catherine made an amazing multi-coloured marble cake.
